Privacy policy

Effective October 4, 2026

Foodzy is a cooking challenge app: you roll a mystery box of ingredients, cook something, and can share a photo of your plate. This page explains what we collect, why, and how to delete it. We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.

What we collect

How we use it

Who processes it

Foodzy runs on Google Firebase and Google Cloud (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions, Analytics and Cloud Vision), in the United States. Google processes this data on our behalf under its own terms. Sign in with Google or Facebook is handled by those companies under their privacy policies. Store and price data comes from public store websites and contains no personal information.

Deleting your data

In the app, open the menu and choose Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, profile, plates and their photos, comments, saves, follows, blocks and reports within minutes. Like counts you contributed stay as anonymous numbers. You can also delete single plates and comments at any time.

If you can't access the app, email us and we'll delete your account for you.

Children

Foodzy is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app.
